Azaraku

entering the ruins of the temple azaraku was filled with awe "these ruins are thousands of years old but are untouched by the ravages of time what skill the constructors must have had." walking through the halls she marveled the amazingly intricate carvings along the walls after exploring much of the temple she found what she imagined to be the nexus of the temple as she passed the threshold she was struck by the feeling of powerful magic "there is no ley convergance in this area. what else could be causing this though?." she muttered to herself stepping farther into the room she saw a pedestal with a simple white mask upon it as she got closer and closer she realized it was the mask that was exuding the potent magical miasma getting stronger the closer she went as she finally stood before the mask magic radiating off of it in almost physical waves she wondered what this item could have been used for to maintain this level of magical power this long. she picked it up as gently as she could so she could examine it when desire she hadn't had rippled through her 'put on the mask with it all will bow before you' "yes with the power of this mask i can make the world itself bow to my will!" as she brought it to her face it began to morph from its previous shape the material moving like liquid across her face matching the contours of her skull the eye holes broadening and two smaller ones opening at the corners gashes appearing at the edge of the mask. once the process finished she felt immense magic flow through her,more than she had ever felt even more than when she channeled awe inspiring amounts of natural energy on the battlefield when suddenly her body seized up and a agonizing wave of pain tore through her the last thing that went through her mind was a foreign entity chuckling and saying "you fool"
