I'm a firefly

This dragon has her nose in a book and she seems lost in the story. There are bookcases around her that are full of all kinds of books. As you survey the room, she looks up and finally notices you.

"Oh! Welcome! I didn't realize we had visitors." She has a sweet tone of voice and sounds happy to have company. "How long have you been here? I'm sorry I didn't notice you sooner, I just got really pulled into the world of this story."

She puts a bookmark in between the pages and closes up her book. She stands up and turns to face you fully. "Now then, did you come here looking for a book, or do you need something?" As she asks this, she reaches a paw up to her necklace and starts to tug at it slightly. She appears ready to take it off at any moment, what could be the reason?

Despite what one might assume, Kalyxa is actually from the arctic region. Her egg was separated from her family and her egg ended up being carried far from home. She was found and adopted by an old ice dragon, so she was raised in a climate far colder than where she was initially from.

Knowing that she was adopted and didn't quite fit in, she set out on a journey to find her true family when she became old enough to take care of herself. Although she had her own dreams and goals, she was easily distracted by others in need. She just couldn't turn a blind eye to someone in trouble. She'd go out of her way to help a complete stranger, putting her own dreams on hold for the sake of others, and making many friends along the way.

Among them was a dragon named Razairu, who soon became a traveling companion and even a mate. Together, they continued to explore the world, find clues to Kalyxa's past, and help anyone they could along the way.
