The Nightmare calls her brood away from the Dream, but not all answer.
One, more thorn than rose, has long since begun her journey away from the Mother's Dream. On the inside, eyes cannot see the fog that surrounds them, and so many remain in their fragile peace, believing that this is the way. But on the outskirts, one cannot separate the brood from the fog, and the blindness is all too clear.

Siben joined the outskirts long ago, and there she prowls, a daughter of the Nightmare, waiting for those who wonder if the Dream they are seeing is the truth at all.
