From the darkest corners in the Ashfall Waste came a dragon that no one ever expected before. While he resembled a Snapper in the simplest sense, he always had a sense of...something else. Needless to say, Balthazar was always treaded around with extreme caution. And for good reason- he was one with the magma, and the ground always seemed to smolder where he walked.
His powers over flame were magnificent and deadly, and since he never slept, the eternal aura of smoldering heat that surrounded him never faded. Balthazar is regarded as extraordinary, even among Fire Dragons...but needless to say, his personality is less liked- the Snapper is destructive and revels in burning the world, taking joy in battle, and wanting to spread his power across the lands.
Balthazar is outside of the Azeryx Clan, along with his comrade Drench. It seems they are waiting for something to happen, but what it is has yet to be discovered.

"What the hell is that? I can't even see with this heat...but WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" -Cass
