Mariff settled into the lands of Nature, grateful for the respite he found within the Gladeskeeper's domain. Perplexed at who he was, where he'd come from, but with no hints to lead him to an answer, he decided the best thing to do would be forge on and make sure that from that point forward he would know.

After a short time, he was joined by Arasa, also confused and lost. He welcomed her. Throughout the day, the two carved a out a lair for themselves. As night began to fall, they settled down to keep one another company.

They were joined by two dragons from a Lightning clan that Mariff had encountered on his way to Nature. They'd been charmed by him, apparently, and decided to join up if they could find welcome with him. Arasa and he decided that they could definitely use the numbers, and so Sapling and Machia- the tree and the gargoyle- settled in as well. It wasn't long before two others joined up- refugees, although from what? They refused to say. Regardless, Kida and the nameless one- referred to as Mystery by his companion- settled in as well.

With Arasa nuzzled into his side, the Skydancer and the Nocturnes guarding his back, Mariff let himself rest, curious as to what this new land would bring them, what the coming days would hold.
