Twilight Clan Matriarch DESCRIPTION Twilight is the clan's dark and reclusive leader. Born in the depths of Shadows domain, she looks very out of place in the mangled and scared wasteland that her clan inhabits. Hatched with a mutation that caused unsightly, patchy fur to grow from underneath her scales, the ageing dragon prefers to keep to herself, only ever coming out of her den at night, or when her guidance is needed. |

BIOGRAPHY Since her hatching, this dark dragon was been seen as "undesirable" by the other members of her clan. The Guardian's deformity hindered her sociability to only a few select individuals, the most prominent one being her childhood friend, a Mirror named Copper, who was also a social outcast. When it came time for her to undertake The Search, she convinced her friend to follow her, for Twilight wasn't only seeking her Charge, but a new life away from the pressures of her judgmental clan. They soon after met an elderly injured Ridgeback named Sateen, which the two encountered in The Wandering Contagion. With his guidance, they founded their own clan, but fate still had a few cruel surprises for the two young dragons. What happened afterward is shrouded in mystery, known only by her, Copper, and Sateen, but whatever it was resulted in their expulsion from The Tangled Wood. Even after this, all these years later, despite her clan now being stable and prosperous, Twilight never found her charge. Not until one fateful day she visited the clan hatchery, and gazed upon a newborn Mirror of the Nature flight, Cyclone. She now guards him profusely, as if making up for all the years she didn't have him by her side. Though exiled, Twilight wishes to one day lead her clan to a more fertile land, but for now they make their home on the outskirts of various flight borders, but this may not be forever, for one way or another her children always come home... |
