The Assistant
For whatever reason, he was drawn to Codex when she began forming her lair. Whether this was a good thing or not is up for debate. He does his best to assist her in her work, occasionally hunting down ingredients and information alike. Unfortunately, he's also been used as a guinea pig more than once. He doesn't seem to mind much, but older members of the clan have noticed his personality deteriorate over the years. It's probably fine.
