A true guardian to the core, Saruhiko's origins are unknown even to him save for his instinct that he was born to protect those who he calls family. As the progenitor of his clan he watches over all to ensure their safety and at times sacrificing his safety in favor of his loyalty. Although he is thought to be cold and unfeeling to those outside his clan all who share a bond with him see the depth of his compassion and love for them through the subtle duties he carries out for the betterment of his family from keeping a watchful eye on the young to hunting for hours a day to ensure everyone is well fed. He is worthy of the title 'protector'.
