STORY

I met Meadow while I was on my way to the Greenskeeper Gathering. I was feeling aimless and a little lost. I had used the festival as an excuse to leave my previous clan...an attempt at a cure for my boredom. I needed a change. I just didn't know what it was.

Meadow was interesting. She was unlike any fae that I had ever met. Unusually quiet and overwhelmingly honest. When she spoke, it was because she had something meaningful to say. When she moved, it was with purpose. I have to admit, I found it refreshing and was eager to share her company.

Along the way we came across Faelynn and her clan. They were in desperate need of a healer. I knew from the very first moment Faelynn spoke that I was meant to follow her. She was filled with the light of the Glademother and I wanted to be filled with that light too. This clan needed me and I needed them.

Meadow brought me everything required to heal Faelynn. As she stood before me, holding the herbs that I needed, I saw our life together...and I knew that she was for me. Loving her is easy. I don't need to be anyone other than myself. She is not as devoted to our path as I am, but I have hope.

I have found new purpose with this clan. We are constantly traveling, but I find that this keeps my boredom at bay. Healing these warriors soothes me in a way that I cannot explain. Every morning, as the sunlight filters down through the trees and the breeze gently whispers my name, I feel renewed. The Glademother is with me and I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

"The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind."
