 His sprout (an alternate term for nature eggs) popped from the dirt like a daisy. Curious and in awe of the behemoth before him, his large fae eyes blinked wonderously. A loud peeling noise and the sudden coldness of a shadow, draped over his form, made him fold his wings over himself in a pseudo-hug.

Eyods eyes peeked out from behind his wings. It was another, another - what was he? "Dragon. Fae," a gravelly voice washed over him, conjuring the sound of leaves like the great tree before him and the crack of a massive object splintering.

As the voice silenced, not to be heard until a great age, Eyod's senses returned to him. He looked at the massive dragon before him, colored by grass and light and all of nature embodied, and spoke.

"You are a dragon," he stated.

"Yes." The other dragon replied.

"Fae?" Eyod questioned, his thoughts feeling wrong.

"No. I am a Guardian, Protector of... something," the guardian said. Keshav - her self word was. The two talked for ages it felt like, the morning light had come and gone and come again by the time the two bonded had finished. As the dawn stained the sky with gold, the pair set off. Keshav with a deep ache in her soul and desperation to find her Charge. Eyod followed along, knowing that something important was to happen soon.

The two bonded - for the pair of dragons were bonded in thought and heart if never in body - travelled
