The Matriarch of the clan, Keshav is its main Guardian with her mate Firnen. She stays away from the main enclave, however, as she deems it necessary to guard it from afar. Keshav patrols the borders of her charge. Which, contrary to most of Setaria's belief, is not the clan but the land itself. Her adopted hatchling, Carrick, shadows her as well as his hide allows.

Keshav does not spend all of her time in proximity to Firnen, but they often visit each other and take turns travelling. Firnen prefers to stay near the nests he guards, though he and Keshav have never had one of their own.

Though Matriarch of the clan, Keshav has little to do with Setarias day-to-day running, leaving that to Setaria's council. Instead, Keshav is a silent protector, keeping guard of her land - Allowing Setaria to settle on it's grounds to cultivate it.
