Personality
  • Altura is a natural leader. She is stern but fair, and always willing to listen to others. For that, others listen to her in turn, cultivating her natural born leadership skills.
  • She can be quite intimidating to approach for dragons unfamiliar with her. Her face is often stony and her posture typically defaults to irritated when she's not making an effort to relax.
  • When it comes to protecting her family, punishment for crimes against them is always equivalent to the crime. She delivers these judgments in a cold, calculating matter, with little regard for emotions.
  • Unlike her mate, Valtos, Altura's focus is exceptionally single-minded. She is only able to focus on one problem at a time, and while she is thorough with it, she cannot process several topics taking up her attention at the same time.

Abandoned by her parents before she had even hatched, Altura was used to being alone. She wandered from place to place, the shadows of the Tangled wood being her only constant companion. Occasionally she met other dragons, some of whom where even like her, wanderers looking for a home. But nothing ever came from those meetings. Despite her best efforts, she was never able to convince any of the other dragons to follow her. For some, it was because of her age and inexperience, and for others, it was that she was still alone herself. But no matter the reason, none would come with her. Until she met him.

Valtos was just who she needed to start gathering other dragons. A pair of dragons traveling together was both safer, and others were more likely to accept that she could lead if someone was already following her. It was perfect.

Soon, others joined her, enough dragons to create a small clan. A small family. As Altura looked over them, settling into their new lair in the Wispwillow Grove, she couldn't help but feel proud of what she had done. 		Ancient Fungus Sapphire Talonclasp Pendant Umbral Wreath Duskrat
