Biography

Once, Thesarian was the kind and benevolent leader of the clan along with his mate Moccai. The two started out as gentle Fae, carving out a humble beginning together tucked away in the deep forest. Soon their clan grew as they welcomed travelers and convinced them to settle. The clan thrived under the kindness of the rules but the pair didn't necessarily deem themselves fit to be leaders. They were soft, gentle, and thus other clans took advantage of them. Seeing that this hurt their clan members, the two Fae sought out replacements for themselves.

The Council was created, a group of elder dragons with various viewpoints and skill sets. Within that Council they elected a new leader and came to a mutual agreement over the matter. This leader, while not holding all of the power over the clan, would serve at the main decision maker. Lorelei, a willful dragon and a strong sorceress took on the title of Queen. Her mate, Neolithe, was chosen by her to rule at her side however his power was limited to his place in the Council while she remained the face of the clan.

Satisfied with this outcome, Moccai and Thesarian settled into their place on the Council and watched their clan grow under Lorelei's rule. She was strong and had heart but nobody knew that her dabbling in dark magic would take such a toll on her mind. The effects of the Queens research didn't show themselves until the previous leaders had grown old. Soon Moccai and Thesarian passed away peacefully of old age, thinking their clan was in good hands. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Their bodies went missing just in time for the burial and there was nothing to bury. The Council searched but nobody could find the old leaders. The mystery went unsolved and the clan became unsettled and saddened by the loss. The old leaders were gone.

Years later, it was becoming evident that the Queen was going mad. It was more obvious with each passing day but nobody realized that madness had been dwelling under the surface for a while now. She had been trying to keep it in check but it had claws and those claws gripped her soul with an unyielding hold. In her hidden lair where she practiced her necromancy, she struck success. The spell was mastered, the old leaders rose again. Twisted and mangled from her experiments, they took on the form of Aberrations. No longer Fae, they were morphed into new bodies and their minds couldn't adapt to the changes. They to were driven to madness as they tasted death and rose into their new shape.

She tamed their rabid viciousness, brought them back to a state of intelligence enough so that she could convince them to work with her. Chaotic and without purpose, the pair agreed. They were presented to the clan, the old leaders revived and made better than before. The clan was horrified but the beasts were so terrifying with the swirling madness in their eyes that they all fell silent in their presence. The clan looked upon the old leaders in fear, just as Lorelei had wanted. The Council was shocked and realized this had to be the last straw. Somebody had to do something about Lorelei. She had to be overthrown.

Thesarian, once coming free of the mind-numbing insanity, grew interested in the herbs that Lorelei used. While his mate studied her mind, he studied her materials. He wasn't quite as smart as Moccai but he found great purpose in the blends and mixes that created brews. Herbalism became his obsession and the chaos in his body urged him to create more and more potent poisons which he tested by ingesting himself.

He was immune, not to the poisons but to death itself. His morphed body was too strong to break. He suffered through the adverse reactions from the poisons, lavishing in how potent they really are and growing excited at the thought of using them on somebody. Anybody. Even his own children who had already grown well into adult hood before he had been revived. Old weak, Fae children that he despised. He tricked and poisoned each and every one, watching them suffer through the effects with a curious glint in his eyes.

His new children, the ones freshly born of his mate's chaotic new body, were strong. They were wild, oftentimes blood thirsty and full of twisted magic. The pair looked upon them with adoration after doing away with their old lineage. These children were perfection.

He is often visited by Moloch, the Deity of Nightmares, when he sleeps.
