F35rNz1.png It takes one look into the pearlcatcher's eyes, and you know that sanity is gone. Sliver is incredibly young, but born with inconceivable power. She has an innate sense of the chemistry of the natural world. More dangerous than that, is her ability to spin curses. With a single feather from her seeker and a few ancient words, she can have any dragon pestered by itches or paranoia for days. The cost of this great power, however, is her sanity. Sliver has very much gone crazy, sitting at the edge of the circle, as far away from everyone as she can get and talking to her seeker. It is usually best to leave her be, and the clan only resorts to using her abilities if it is absolutely necessary. MxSM6Fa.png

Her curses are so versatile that typing them all out here would take days. Let's just say, if she can come up with a proper incantation for it, she can do it. Each curse uses her life-force to power itself as long as the curse is active. The sensation of life-force actively being drained causes her to lose her mind.

Sliver has been with the clan a very, very long time. She's seen the distant mountains of every planet around Sornieth, and she's visited the vast majority of Oz's racing rings. She has an intimate knowledge of which steroids affect which breeds best; they're her modern potion and witchcraft. Because Sliver is now a bloodmage; while she still does some work with curses and energy bending, her specialty rests with dragon blood.

Sliver can create a spell or potion to influence the very essence that runs within a dragon's body; her tonics are highly sought after in every racing rink, but users beware. Blood magic requires an energy source, and Sliver no longer uses herself. When dragons drop dead in the racing rink from critically low blood pressure, she merely smiles and collects her payment. There is no request she will turn down, but one should be wary what they ask for. It could be your last.
