Graham was born and raised on the Mirrorlight Promenade, despite being a Plague dragon himself. It was a grand mystery to the clans in the area how he got there, but despite that, they were very happy to adopt him. With encouragement from his new, philosophical clan, Graham further developed a gift he'd had since birth; extreme empathy and imagination. He could literally predict others' behaviour, but the adoration that brought him, didn't get rid of the itching feeling of not belonging. So, when he was old enough, he started making a journey to his homeland; the Scarred Wasteland.

Unhatched Plague Egg
He barely made it to the Scarred Wasteland before his journey was cut short. As he passed through a lair's nesting grounds, he encountered a father about to crush his own egg in panic. When Graham interfered, the father attacked him. The result was a fight of life and death, won by Graham. Too traumatised to wander around any longer, Graham took the egg under his care out of guilt for killing its father and returned home.
Graham was too hungry and exhausted to make it all the way home in one go. He paused at the outskirts of Hewn City, where he met Lecter. His intention was to make the egg comfortable, regain his strength and then move along, but something about Lecter stopped him. He gave him a feeling of belonging, and that was more than enough to make him stay. By the time Abigail hatched, the two were practically inseparable, to the point where doing the same thing as that father once did, did not repulse him anymore.
