Honor was incredibly important in the skydancer's former clan; once disgraced, one had to be sent out no matter what position they hold, or face certain death. An accident that had caused SCORIA'S left eye and the life of another had been blamed entirely on him and the clan elders had decreed to cut the bad apple out before it could poison the others. He leaves on his own, disgraced and shamed, before he stumbles on the tents around a dig and ask for a position in exchange of any type of work.

The skydancer is now tasked with hunting and gathering various things for the medic, as well as acting as night guard with one of the musketeers. He's diligent with his work but aspires for something more, to prove something to himself and to other's that he's not worthless or replaceable. He's secretly taken Cerus under his wing and takes care of her like he would his sister, but there are darker things conspiring on the horizon for the pair.

Scoria is hardworking and diligent, and possesses no love for those who are the opposite, finding them the scum of humanity. He doles out harsh punishments if he sees it fit, claiming that it would drill the lessons in, but has the odd habit of taking it back always before sundown. His familiar sneaks around to listen to other people's conversations and report back to him; this clan needs a leader, after all. He takes all things -- jokes or otherwise -- very seriously.
