Oldest son of literal Satan and a cursed half-demon.

One of the better known, unfortunate truths about the world is that there are those who succeed not through hard work and the expulsion of bodily fluids, but through the dark arts of appealing to others emotions and maintaining that reaction towards their goals. And one of the most insidious masters of this trade are those who perform it unconsciously.
It is a small leap then to say that infants and toddlers are the closest thing to demonic entities without the risk of immediate incineration.

The main things that Samael struggles with is the fact that he is not as small and obviously helpless as he was as a hatchling, nor manipulative and cunning as his heritage would suggest. Even though he can function as an adult most of the time, during moments of great stress Samael tends to react like a young hatchling would. This usually means terrible temper tantrums, gripping onto the nearest and largest dragon he can get at, and vaguely incomprehensible rambling.
