Biography


Thistle is the clan matriarch. A very motherly, doting dragon, she flutters about the Starwood Strand, making sure the members of her clan are happy, the very image of a wind flight dragon. She doesn't live to please others, but she does take it as her responsibility as the clan leader to keep everyone in check and teach them independence. Do not take advantage of her kindness - although seemingly delicate and sweet, she can be extremely stubborn and tough if need be, a trait that has passed down to her daughter Drogon. She is well-respected among the members of the clan.

Although born and raised in Wind Flight and happy with it, she began having prophetic visions in her dreams that grew stronger as more Arcane dragons joined the clan. Their energy affected her fae magic, causing it to grow stronger in ways she couldn't harness. With the clan's best interests in mind, they moved to the Starwood Strand in hopes of better understanding these visions and control the magical abilities they had been denying.

She has since changed from a fae to a pearlcatcher. Although her body is different, her magical powers are stronger than ever. The new pearl helps her focus her energy and see visions clearly. It's strange having a bigger body, and it depresses her that she can't ride on the antlers of her elk anymore, but now it's easier to cradle her daughter Drogon in her arms. Drogon hates this.

She has taken the role of the clan's seer, and many members turn to her for guidance and advice.
