Oberon, King of Fairies

If you're outside your lair, you might see the shimmer of something approaching on the horizon quite a while before an elegantly attired Coatl flaps s l o w l y and majestically to a halt by the front entrance.


He's dressed to the nines, but his golden journeyer's gear looks rather serious, and his gleaming, well-polished armor definitely looks as though it would turn aside a spear or claw with no trouble at all.

"Happy Brightshine, greetings of the Lightweaver and all that, no?" he greets you. "I'm Bero. Light Witches Regiment first class. We're responding to the threat of the First Emperor -- his ghost rising in the ruins of the Hewn City to wreak a terrible vengeance upon first the Pearlcatchers of Light and then all the innocent dragons of Sornieth, and such." He waves a vague claw.

"No fear, though. Glitter and shiny things repel Emperors. It's common knowledge, that. And so I've flown the dreadful distance through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered to bring your clan some spoils of your own, what?"

From somewhere amidst his glamorous armor, he produces a package and sets it down in front of you.

"I must continue my dreadfully long list of deliveries, but it's all in a day's work for the Light Witches Regiment. Blessings from the Lightweaver, and thank you for your solidarity and support as we face down the ghostly beastie ...."

His breastplate gleaming, he turns to take to the air again.
