Liadan

When she hatched, Liadan was already an orphan, her parents mysteriously having died shortly before her birth, and she was the only survivor from a clutch of three eggs. Shortly after her birth, she was discovered by an old mirror dragon named Lumos, who had chosen to live in seclusion, far away from any of the mirror packs and other clans, content with practicing his magic in solitude. Although he lived alone, he made a habit of collecting young hatchlings and raising them, having adopted several other orphans, all of which were gone by the time Liadan came to live with him. Unlike her foster father, Liadan had no interest in magic, preferring instead to forge and create delicate pieces of metal, spending hours shaping them to perfection, only to melt them down and start over. Sometime after she became an adult, Lumos disappeared from the cave he inhabited with her, and she hasn’t seen him since. Since then, she has come to trade several of her ‘works of art’ with the local Harpy and Centaur clans, if only because, in return, they have expanded her knowledge of metalwork and she has become a partially successful entrepreneur of her works.
