Douran is the term used in Tokyo to describe the white make-up worn by the Geisha and Maiko.
Named for the white of his horns, Douran was bought as a hatchling and raised by Hatsumomo. It's pearly white horns illuminate the night sky as it glides through the stars just as a Geisha would glide through the street with her glowing perfect features enhanced by the white paste of her make-up. This dragon aids as Hatsumomo's Lair guide on the darkest of nights.
