[ DRUID ]
The Untameable

Willow is eccentric, even for a Fae. Her sense of humor is incomprehensible to most other dragons, nobody ever gets her jokes. Maybe it could be because she usually speaks in howls and barks in addition to the usually monotone Fae language.

But there's just something about her that made Nectar go crazy with love for her. He finds her quirky, intriguing, bold. Always doing something, always wanting to show him something. Not just your everyday plain Skydancer beauty, he says. Willow gladly accepts it, and she and Nectar have been mates for a long time, to the point that they got matching rings to always show off the bond they share.

She and Nectar have sort of a secret language, made mostly of what they call "the sounds of the forest", to ease their communication.

At first glance, their jobs may seem to be clashing with their eye color, but any dragon you ask will tell you that they have as much affinity for the wilderness as any Nature dragon, if not more.

Willow lives with her beloved a bit far from the lair's core, where the bamboo grows higher and many more plants enrich the flora. In their own lair gently built around a banian tree, they live, study and raise their nests together.

The naturalist Fae never even hoped to find a home so loving, where everyone was free of doing his own thing. But now that she has it, she's never going to leave.

Though Willow is often misunderstood by other dragons, there are those out there who find her quirks charming, and not just her mate, Nectar. Varparla and Blom, druids from a lair in the Arcane realms happened upon her in their wandering. Blom, young thing that he is, thought Willow was hilarious and immediately wanted to make friends. Varparla remained at a polite distance, bowing respectfully to Nectar, Willow's mate to indicate lack of threat. Whether Willow and Nectar responded favorably to the offers of friendship is a tale for another time. It is enough to know that Willow's personality and quirks draw other druidic dragons to her, charmed by her enthusiasm and kindness, and by her mate's devotion, and their shared passion for all things nature.
