я н ι η є The trick was looking past the illusion, because the exit was never as far away as it seemed. The flames chased around her, flickering in through the branches, heating the earth. It was as if the ground had woken, flinging birds into the sky. Arching it's back, letting the fire fall around and spread, draining the life from everything it touched. The cries of the lost and injured were drowned in the voice of the blaze. The horizon was orange, the sun blocked by a cloud of darkness. Smoke. And as she burst out of the edges of the wood, into the cracked, dry plains beyond, she knew, without looking back on the apocalyptic fire, that her home was gone. Hers was a tiring journey. Lost and orphaned at a young age from a devastating wildfire, she set off, looking for a new home. She had lived at the border between the the Viridian Labyrinth and the Dragonhome, which left her no choice but to travel further mainland. She first traveled through the Tangled Wood, but was quickly met by thieves, who tricked her with fake hospitality. She quickly moved on to the Sunbeam Ruins, where she met her first mate - a young Coatl with a large heart. She traveled with him for a while, but she just wasn't content in the Light Flight, and, with a heavy heart, she left her last unexalted child and her mate behind, and traveled on. She stopped by Water, and Plague, and then moved to the Starfall Isles, where she met her second mate - a Wildclaw, this time, who, like her, once had love, love that would never rekindle. And so they stayed together for a very long while, until the other wanted to move to Light. Rhine hesitantly agreed, to stay with him. But once again, it didn't work out, and she set off again. She visited the remaining Flight's territories (skirting the Ashfall Waste), and finally decided to settle in Wind. She was quickly welcomed into the clan, and- TO BE FINISHED
