Young and idealistic Captain of the Guard.

The Shining Star of the Silmarillion Clan, Silmë was adopted from the Fire Flight on direct orders from the Matriarch herself, who saw in him a spirit whose brilliance is matched by few in this world. As such, great things have been expected of him, and as evidenced by his rapid ascension to his current position, he has indeed achieved them. He strives to be the paragon of the Silmarillion clan, and despite being an exemplar of the Clan’s ideals, he can often be as haughty and self-righteous as he can be gracious and refined. He can be particularly defensive when his Fire Flight origins are brought up, though Calcite has always insisted that his inner Fire can amplify his Light, if he lets it.

In something of an upset, his mate is Nymeria, Speaker for the Matriarch. A collected and positive individual, many in the Clan thought that her level-headedness would make her a match for Silmë’s Guard Captain counterpart, Leotheras. However, she was drawn to Silmë after a number of unexpectedly long conversations (and a few quietly intense arguments sparked by him, each of which she won), and it turned out that Nymeria’s eloquence was the perfect counter to his occasional pride and defensiveness.
