Keine has always been the mysterious sort. Always devoted to her duties of researching and preserving the history of the land, she also takes it upon herself to teach the young up-and-coming scholars of the clan to the best of her abilities. She seems to have near legendary patience, rivaling only Anabiel's, some say.

She seems to be very in-tune with the cycle of the moon, knowing exactly what phase and where the moon is even when the sky is rainy. The full moon, especially, seems to have some sort of effect on her. Keine seems to get a bit more skittish the closer to the full moon it gets, and on the full moon, she always seems to disappear, without anyone knowing exactly where she went. She is almost always back by daybreak, albeit worn out and perhaps a bit ill, but always back on her feet fairly quickly.

Countless occasions have seen her off to the sweltering rot of the Wyrmwound to meet with her mate Mokou, who serves as one of several emissaries to the clan's most faithful foreign ally. Though she oftentimes misses her mate and yearns to be with her, Keine continues working faithfully, knowing that, in time, she will get to see her darling again.
