Amosis

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" The dragon chants.

Nothing happens.

"Hmm... That wasn't it... Maybe.... Hocus Pocus!"

Nothing again.

"That wasn't right, either? Huh. Maybe.... Abra Kadabra!"

Still nothing.

"Alakazam?"

Nope.

"Ugh! Why is nothing happening?!" He shouts in frustration.

He seems troubled. You ask what the problem is.

He turns to you and holds out a small jar of cookies. "I can't get it open! I've been trying for hours! I already tried "Open Sesame!"" He moans.

Then a light bulb moment. "Hey! You look strong, think you open it for me? I promise to share if you help."

You agree to help and manege to get it open.

"Hallelujah!" He shouts gleefully. "Thanks, pal! As promised, your reward." He hands you a pawfull of cookies. "Just for that, we're friends now whether you like it or not!" He chuckles.


Amosis is a bit of an eccentric, absent minded wizard. He's easily excitable and loves his work, but he just doesn't seem to know what he's doing at times. Despite this, he's actually quite skilled with magic and potion making. He just doesn't always remember how to do it right.

To make up for this, he makes a lot of notes and writes down all his spells. He just also tends to scatter them everywhere and lose track of where he left them. So his Gloomwillow Guide is more often than not leading their own companion to wherever his notes were last seen.

His Serthis familiar happily works alongside him, eager to help with anything he needs. After all, it is because of Amosis that he even has a job. With his help, he is finally able to teach shadow magic. So he's very loyal to him.

In his free time, Amosis loves stargazing and is usually getting lectures on constellations from Shai. Normally Saritua is quick to join them. He just never seems to get tired of hearing the lectures no matter how many times he hears them.

Amosis loves having Zhen visit. Not only is it nice having company, but she makes a great assistant. She isn't clumsy enough to randomly knock things over, and is actually patient enough to do the job right. She listens and remembers things. She also helps keep track of spells, which is always a welcome necessity.

Normally Zhen brings Izarre with her when she visits. Izarre loves visiting and has quickly developed a fascination for magic. However, his excitement and eagerness to do something fun often has him skipping all the necessary steps of study and practice. He tends to make a mess of things as a result, and then his mother forces him to help clean up. Amosis doesn't mind too much, though. It just reminds him of when he was young. He's happy to train Izarre whenever he is truly ready to learn.

Amosis lives next door to Batari, Keanu, and Yuuka. He is often visiting them and performing spells with them. They're close friends, almost like family, and can usually be seen spending time together.
