Theadris

The new dragon to appear before your eyes made you back up a bit in astonishment, and the unease of your large guide at so small a dragon did nothing to assuage your fears. His whole hide, and even his feathers, seemed as if nearly turned to stone then cracked slowly over time to reveal a swirling of darkness within. This swirling darkness mixed with tiny blue lights caused your eyes to widen as they darted between the near holes in his hide to the Nocturne's wings: the same substance. Narrowed, cold, and nearly dead looking white eyes peered out from under his hood at you in complete disdain, and only moments later Terra excused herself from the laboratory after giving a brief goodbye to the other female there.

Only after the Guardian had left did the newcomer speak with a voice neither malicious nor benevolent though it was easy to see either in his manners should he choose, "What's your purpose here, Outsider."

A bit taken aback you find it hard to respond to the male seeming to live in the thin grey line between good and evil, but luckily the little female replies in your stead with a quiet giggle. "Ethren sent him, Theadris. It's ok; he's just a curious new friend who wants to get to know us!" Flitting down to land before the male she nuzzles under his chin in a way only a mate could before once more turning you to. "This is Theadris. He's my night in shining armor despite the way he looks." She grins at you as above her head he rolls his eyes though much more goodnaturedly this time. The eyes once more fix on you and the warmth drains immediately.

"After your time visiting with my mate is through kindly escort yourself out." Turning on his paws he stalks off back into the halls of the laboratory almost immediately consumed by the shadows of the hall as though the reached out to him. He seemed gone until you heard a voice calling back, "And should you hurt her the same shall be dealt to you." A mere giggle ensued from Sevrianne before she turns back to you grinning.
