Biography

THE GENTLE REAPER
Undertaker

| Preferred Title | Undertaker Sicard
| Magic | Sicard possesses strong Plague magic. He is capable of many spells, and he can sense most ailments. His bright red eyes often remind others of fresh blood.
| Religion | Sicard is a follower of the Plaguebringer, despite his Arcane upbringing. He doesn't believe there is anything in the stars that's more powerful than the force of disease. However, he doesn't have disdain for weakness the way most Plague dragons do.
| Appearance | On the small end of the Imperial spectrum, Sicard still towers over many of the clan's smaller dragons. His iridescent scales have a kind of fogginess to their sheen, and the gems growing on his skin go unchecked for months.
| Personality | Sicard has a calm, melancholy air about him. For those who know only of his profession, it has a creepy effect. Rumors buzz around him like flies about what becomes of the dragons he takes under his wing; he is the monster in hatchlings' bedtime stories who drives dragons to their deaths. This doesn't bother Sicard much, since he spends most of his time in his den.
The only reason most dragons come into contact with the Undertaker is if they're so sick the other healers can't help them. Sicard is well versed in these situations, and his grace in handling and explaining them help his patients find peace. It becomes clear to his patients that Sicard isn't insane, his quiet wisdom is just overpowered by the buzz of rumor. By the time his patients reach their end, they have made a friend of Sicard and of death.
| History | Sicard was brought to the Polaris Society as a hatchling. The dragons who found him recalled that he reeked of disease and a Death Seeker perched nearby, as if watching over him. The clan took him in, albeit reluctantly.
He was an odd child, quietly watching other hatchlings, his dark pet always nearby. No one expected him to stay, but there was promise in him. As Sicard grew older, he found his ability to soothe others, and began to use it in the way he saw fit. He began counseling the dying, and while whispers swirled around him, he became the Undertaker.
| Mate | none.
