Moxy hailed from a Lightning clan near the rim of the Carrion Canyon-- an easy enough place to live, certainly, many Storm Seekers available to befriend or use for one's own gain, but not a tech-heavy enough area for an aspiring musician to grow up in.

Sure, Lightning Flight utilizes most of the underground regions of their land, the top of it being more of a roof for its denizens than anything else, but for Moxy, he wanted to quickly rise to the top of Lightning Flight's cities and tech-hubs. At his home, there were no stages, no electric guitars, nothing to enhance one's own voice. All he had was a Storm Seeker to practice his lightning magic with, to be used for special effects at any concerts he would one day hope to perform.

So he and few clan mates broke away from his home clan at a young enough age. He the guitarist and lead singer, a Snapper drummer, and a Fae with keyboard skills, and sought their fortunes in the Tempest Spire.

Already being covered in Circuit, a pride for Lightning Flight dragons, he and his comrades quickly strolled into one of the towers near Stormcatcher's domain. He pushed his band harder and harder, blithely ignoring other denizen's calls to calm down or start working instead of entertaining all the time. Moxy wouldn't quit though. He pushed his group until they were sure to get attention. He sang songs of dominance battles, fights with the Shade, and just about anything a dragon could ask for in regards to a rallying bit of music to bring spirits higher.

Now as his Dominance music continued, Moxy did start to gain attention from some of the Ridgebacks that lived closer to the Stormcatcher in the Tempest Spire. They said, "Why not become a one-man show? You'd live in higher luxury certainly... You could easily drop the lead weights by your side." At first, Moxy declined. As time went on however, and his companions tired, this deal started to look more appealing by the day.

Spirals can go on 100% for long periods of time, but other species do tire. When his companions asked for a break, Moxy asked for a "break up". He gave the two some treasure, and continued his stay in the Spire while the others returned to the Canyon.

Moxy couldn't pull crowds on his own however. As some of these "higher-ups" got entranced by newcomers, he was forgotten. He cursed, he spat, but the bridges were burned with his old bandmates.

And so, Moxy left the Spire. He brought along his equipment, and his companion Storm Seeker from those many years before at home, and decided to do some soul-searching across Sornieth. Uncertain of what he wants, or really needs, he flies until he can find at least for some time, a new clan he can live with.
