Born to Daena, a Dancer of Fire, and Swordwing, a Flight Master In-Training, Sang was a surprisingly quiet child. In fact, compared to his parents, he was rather inactive and introverted. Out of both of his parents, he spends more time around his mother. His father is tied up with his Flight Master training most of the time. However, Sang simply prefers to lock himself up in the clan's library, sorting and helping others to research. Since he is generally found there, typically neglecting his health, his mother often steps in to make sure he eats and sleep when possible.

Sang's job often consists of filing records and filling out paperwork for specific members of the clan. He helps the Ambassadors with their records, organizes the information of inventory brought in by the various collectors, and stores the records of experiments for the more science-inclined members. Every so often, he receives visits from his younger brother, Erwyn. The imperial is one of the few dragons that Sang relaxes around enough to sleep, as he suffers from insomnia because of his workaholic ways.
