An unusually calm Spiral by nature, Moonbeam is a natural caretaker. Due to her own not-so-great upbringing, she is dedicated to making sure no other hatchlings go through what she did. Her cave is almost always full of soft, fluffy things such as furs and toys, as well as numerous hatchlings playing and napping while their parents are out. Moonbeam is one of the most liked dragons in the clan, and several would defend her with their lives- even though she is perfectly capable of defending herself.

Moonbeam is the mother of the clan. Taking in hatchlings and watching over them in place of true parents, though she no longer has children of her own, she is known for taking care of the clan. This doesn't mean she can't hold her own though! A fierce coliseum fighter, Moonbeam fights to protect her clan and allies from any foe, be it beastclan, wild animal, or even another dragon. Being a spiral, her main tactic is confusion. She's quick and agile, and will use this to her advantage. During battle is the only time her spiral nature is revealed however, at the lair she is extemely calm and caring. Travelers tend to find it unnerving, as where most spirals are hyperactive and talkative, Moonbeam prefers the calm quiet of her nest near the back of lair, where she can care for the young hatchlings and eggs she is charged with protecting. She was taken in by Fluffy and Silver as a hatchling after she was cast out of her birth clan, and she now strives to make sure this happens to no other hatchling, and will often end up being scolded by Silver for bringing home yet another hatchling from the Auctionhouse. Her familiar, a Frostbite Hummingbird named Streak, will often be found sitting on her shoulder, or playing with one of her hatchlings. Streak also accompanies her to the coliseum, where the small bird will distract enemies while Moonbeam attacks.
