bamboo guardian, paper maker, kite master

mr. bamboo is.. a guy. sure, he does stuff, but he really is just a guy. he's loud, boisterous, constantly talking about bamboo or kites, and is so loveable.

he's also kind of confusing. he came to the old sunbeam ruins, loudly proclaiming his love for bamboo, and then just stayed. he helped greatly with early development, and wasn't really a nuisance.. so here he's stayed!

his time is spent alongside star, carefully curating a bamboo garden with her expert assistance, and guarding it with his life. whatever time he has left after guarding the safest bamboo in the world is used to make paper or intricate kites.. or origami! a man of many a talent, truly!

actually, he's the only paper supplier in the clan, so he's kind of a lifesaver in that regard. and although the kites he crafts are exceptionally difficult to fly in the windless hewn city, mr. bamboo simply uses his innate wind magic to help them fly. great fun for the whole family; hatchlings & adults alike!

he's certainly a little.. strange, and a perhaps a tad confused, but he's got the spirit! and really, how could you ever dislike his goofy, lovable face?

(im going to write this bio later, but for the curious regarding his offspring; 2015 chimecho saw the "bamboo guardian" skin and thought making it into this vine was the funniest thing since sliced bread, so i bought this snapper and put the skin on him. i am obscenely attached. i couldn't get rid of him if i tried

i paired him with meredith for reasons i truly can't actually remember? anyways i decided to give their children a theme of being guardians of something. this, admittedly, doesn't work quite as well as it would if they were actual guardians. what bamboo is he even guarding bro we're in the hewn city????????

however, i can't get rid of him, so he & meredith continue to birth fodder that guards whatever first comes to my brain. a legend, truly)
