Biography

Lillith's mother did not mean to lay Lillith's egg when she did.

She happened to be visiting friends in the lightning flight, when her body politely informed her that she needed to lay her eggs NOW. So, she sent for a nest, laid her eggs, and accepted that her daughter was going to be, at heart, a lightning dragon. After Lillith hatched, her mother brought her back home and loved her anyway.

However, this was not the case with the rest of the clan. No one was ever cruel to Lillith, but few of the clan were actively friendly either. She was a bit of a loner to start with, and combined with her unusual origins and propensity to stare intently seemingly random objects, she did not have much of a social life.

Which suited her just fine. Her "random" staring at objects she found aesthetically pleasing was actually her trying to figure out how to replicate that beauty, and it didn't take long for her to start creating art. Beautiful, eye catching pieces that were bright without being gaudy, brilliant without being overwhelming, impactful without being preachy.

She began to sell her pieces to other clans, and pulled in a fair bit of treasure. She tried to use that money to explore a special curiosity: alchemy. However, one thing very quickly became clear; she was as bad as avoiding explosive mixtures as she was good at her art. Thankfully, the witch of the clan, Asteria, quickly discovered what the strange startling sounds and simmering soiling scents were, and took pity on Lillith.

Nowadays, Lillith spends her time in between art pieces finding alchemical ingredients for Asteria. Lillith's visual intelligence has served her well, as the artist is able to identify healing plants from their poisonous cousins at a glance. And while she is not bosom friends with everyone in the clan, she is content.
