Bartholomew

No matter how many nicknames his fellow prospects tried on Bartholomew, nothing ever stuck. He was so serious, so reserved, so apart that nothing ever seemed right but the full, earnest Bartholomew. Even as a student, fighting alongside his personality-laden comrades, he seemed to stand alone, both as the most dedicated fighter and the least emotionally attached. He's been a loner for so long that he has no idea how to be anything else, but deep down, all he wants to make a real connection with someone. He desperately hopes that he'll have that chance with a clan of his own.



At one school festival, received a flower crown from another prospect. He kept it until it crumbled into dust.

Once cried at being given a Faded Shadowbringer Effigy, but was so embarrassed about it afterward that no one teased him or even asked him why.

Sings to himself while bathing. Constantly.

Has developed a fascination with Glimmer dragons after being saddled with glaringly shiny training partners for so long. If he daydreams about having Glimmer hatchlings of his own to dote on, surely no one need ever know.
