Brash, adventurous and with an incredible imagination for pulling the best pranks ever, she was discovered clustered together with Yang, her almost-sister, and Rosewing, her best friend forever into Aglowsapphire's monthly very fresh bamboo salad. The Tundra is known to be very fond of bamboo leaves, especially fresh, and is quite capable to fly all the way to the windsinger's territory to have them! To the condition of being accompaniated by Cinderfang, and occasionally Yagga, of course. The three hatchlings were more or less immediately adopted by the female Imperial, who declared that their behavior was simply "too adorable to not love them as my own", despite their quite obvious différences with their "mother", they returned her the adoption.

Yin is peppy, full of energy, and has a strong love for pranks of all kinds. She knows everyone in the clan, and everyone more or less accepts her at the one peppy, chirpy figure that chimes to them "good morning" and "good night" each day. Quite easy to live with, despite the occasionnal foodfights that seem to reach the whole clan each time they go on a snacking break. She boasts the longest family line of the clan, with some pride in raising each of her childrens as best she could possibly have. She tends to be the go-to person for advice on unruly hatchlings, and often follows Yagga in taking care that the hatching of each new clutch goes as smoothly as it possibly can.
