Flurri

Hmm...it's not everyday a nature clan has an alchemy lab as elaborate as an arcane dragon. To think that such a laboratory was in the Kauri clan...Who knew? You enter the lab to meet the alchemist and see what they're up to. But what you don't expect to see is a glamorous, jewelry-clad guardian and her scarred up, grimy sister in the lab together. The scarred guardian spots you and fishes out her chalkboard, alerting the prettier sister of your presence. She's the first to greet you.

"Hello, traveler! I take it that you are interested in alchemy? Oh...I see. Even if you wanted to know what we are doing, that's still an interest to me. I'm Flurri and this is my sister, Firru."

The scarred guardian smiles while scribbling on her chalkboard. "Hello! Don't mind me, I'm just trying to figure something out..."

Flurri has a look that says she doesn't believe her sister as she turns to you. "As you can see, we work together in our alchemy. I'm the smart one, and she's, well, she's a bit of a daredevil."

You spot Firru holding her chalkboard for you to read: 'Flurri's vain and makes me do all the dangerous stuff'. Just as quick, she flips it over to reveal another message as Flurri turns to see what you're looking at. 'She's right...I'm not as good', the chalkboard says. "Humble is another one of my sister's strong points as well," Flurri comments.

You nod as you ask her another question. "Am I paranoid?" she replies. "Who wouldn't be? My sister gets into so much trouble with the experiments that I have to keep a careful eye on her. Right, Firru?"

Flurri looks over to see Firru holding the chalkboard with the words 'Flatter her' written on it as Firru replies, "Yes, but surely no harm can come from writing, though."

There is slight annoyance on Flurri's face as she turns back towards you. "There's no need to flatter me, Traveler. I get enough of it as it is." You see that Firru's chalkboard is flipped over, with 'She steals credit from me and I want her to apologize for it one day.'

Firru messes with the spare chalkboard once more and calls to her sister. "Flurri! I think I've got something we can try! Come and see this formula!"

Flurri walks over and checks it out. "Exactly as I had predicted before you even wrote the formula, dear sister! I'll go get the ingredients. You collect the equipment we'll need for the experiment."

As Flurri heads off to the back, Firru looks relieved. "About time that vain sloth I have to care about left with her lies. I apologize, traveler...I wish she wasn't such a witch. But she does have the right to be paranoid...I do plan to make her change her ways, even if I have to force it. She likes to keep an eye on me, so it's difficult to pull off something worth my while on her. You may want to leave the lab before she makes you get involved with something dangerous just to keep herself pretty."

The two of you hear Flurri's voice calling out, "What are you two talking about?"

Firru was quick to respond. "We were only talking about all of that jewelry you're wearing! We're debating whether or not gold would actually works on your blue scales!"

There was silence before the voice returned. "That actually sounds like something I should think about! I got the ingredients, so let's get the equipment in here and start the experiment."

As Firru goes to join in the experiment, you heed the warning and left the poor sister to her work. If only you could help mend the hidden rift between the sisters...
