Biography
Trainer of exalts.
Serenity was the battlemaster before Tanithe came along.
When the skydancer showed up, he felt far outplayed by her abilities, and decided to go on a quest to better himself. He was gone quite a while, and returned with better skills and tales of the dragons he'd met. He found there to be new faces, and that some of his friends had already left to work under their Father's name. He was, nontheless, greeted with warm hugs and a night of celebration.
Serenity is a kind and jolly man; a stark contrast to Tanithe's stern coldness. He's warm and laughs often. He can be stern when things need to be serious-- he just does not like to.
He does not, however, find kindness for his foes. If you choose to stand against him he will show no mercy.
He sees exalting and training as a nessesity, and trains with pride. Children or adults, it's his job to go with them and make sure they find their way safely to the Battlefield. He does not feel regret for sending them off, as he sees it as the highest honor.
However, he has a weakness. Children.
He will never mate, because he fears that sending his own children off will break him. He's not sure how he knows, but he certainly is aware that he could just not take it. As such, he never watches pips hatch, for fear of forming a bond with them.
He has started to notice a certain Skydancer's affections for him from her glancing at him any chance she gets. He's too nice to turn her down, and treats her as kindly but sternly as any other.
