Kyera

As the day crests over the hills throwing a stunning golden light at the sky, two eggs begin to tremble. What an auspicious day that these two sisters should break through the hard shell and slowly crawl from the safety of the egg. It is the Day of Mothers. A day where mothers are goddesses of love and nurturing. This special day has arrived and brought with it two nocturne babes of the Shadow Binder. The all mother has smiled down upon the pairing of their parents, Kythae and AnaLuciya. One of the little girls with wings of gossamer grey, looking more like the sands of time found deep in the shadow woods, and the other of sparkling crystals. The sisters tumble from the remaining pieces of their shells and crawl clumsily to greet the lovely lady and handsome man that is their mother and father. What better than a gift of young with so much promise on this Day of Mothers. The young hatchlings grow fast, as all dragon kind do and playfully stretch their wings, dreaming of the thrill of the first flight and all that follow. As the day continues to grow, so do the dragon girls. They find their way always home to mother and father and venture a little further each time they struggle from the nest. After a few days the sisters earn their name. Kyera and Kyeda sparkle and look as though coated by glitter in the light. They are growing fast and have begun practicing with belching flame. All things have had to be removed due to being scorched, or to keep that mishap from occurring. Soon, their mother knows all too well that they will leave the nest. The sisters are very close, twins even. Though Kyera has the gem bond trait that Kyeda does not. A sorrow all mothers must face is that of the young leaving the nest. But the sisters know that their mother and father will always be a wing stroke away. Kyera has discovered a love of song and has one of the most beautiful voices ever known to the lands. She sings and the land falls quiet to listen to the melody sung with such heart. Just as surprising as the talent of Kyera’s voice, is the grace of her sister Kyeda’s dancing. As they sing and dance, the Shadow Mother herself watches the two and smiles. Great joy is had by the sisters of the Night. Even in the night sky the beauty of them can be seen and heard. The starlight glints off their hide making the sky come alive and join in their performance. Yes, these two are a rare and wonderful gift from the Shadow Binder and there is great anticipation of what they can do with their talent and if it will grow, as they do.
