Cordelia

Cordelia is one of the Lavender Girls, four purple sisters with lavender as each of them's their secondary color. Of the four, she is the sweetest-tempered, though not the smartest. As hatchlings, the four sisters were inseparable, but with adulthood fast approaching, Cordy's sisters are setting off in all different directions, and she's not at all happy about it. Her only tundra sister, Desdemona, will be staying at least until Clan Curmudgeon gets its own lair, and Jade and Candyfloss are eager to welcome her to the brightly-colored-female-tundra sisterhood, but it's still upsetting for her to watch Ophelia and Juliet list themselves for sale.

11-20-13 -- Today was Cordelia's first day in the Coliseum! She's not very good at it yet, but she did win a familiar -- a Luna Mith!

11/21/13 -- Ophelia and Juliet, after a brief foray into the outside world, have come straight back again, and Cordelia couldn't be happier. Juliet found herself unexpectedly, devastatingly homesick; she's not at all ready to leave after all. She's joined up with Clan Curmudgeon, which gives her a certain amount of independence while still keeping her by the family hearth, so to speak. Ophelia, on the other hand, is back only because the search for her charge proved fruitless. She'll leave again soon, but until then Cordy is making the most of their time together by playing with her and Piano (Cordelia's best friend) in the Coliseum.

12/8/13 -- Cordelia is very glad her best friend Pia is returning from her visit to Clan Dracoangelica, although, as something of the clan's Friendliness Ambassador, she has done her best to make Elsa feel welcome.

12/17/13 -- Not injured herself during the earthquake and subsequent lair collapse, Cordelia has nevertheless been deeply shaken by it, and run herself ragged nursing Piano. Now that a drunken hook-up has landed an ambivalent Pia with four eggs, Cordy is thrilled to have something happy and life-affirming to look forward to!

12/28/13 -- Cordelia is very much enjoying looking after the five Guardian babies currently flooding the lair with noise and excitement. All are for sale, the rebuilt lair being in need of funds and space, but Cordy is certainly enjoying their company while it lasts.

1/5/14 -- All of Piano's babies are now in new homes or (in the case of Sundrop) semi-grown and living in her own den, but she and Cordelia enjoyed being in charge of the nursery so much that they've now been assigned to it permanently!

4/29/14 -- Today Cordelia's beloved Piano won a gorgeous Wavecrest Saturnalia skin in the Coliseum, and is beside herself with joy to feel beautiful at last. Cordelia's feelings are more mixed; Pia hardly looks like herself anymore.

11/4/14 -- Now that Cordelia is long since accustomed to Piano's love for skins, their relationship has settled down again. Cordy finds it very comforting to know that despite her lack of genes or accomplishments, she and Piano hold a very vital place in the clan, and in the hearts of all the hatchlings they've helped raise.
