Forsythe is the daughter of Yin and Yang.

Growing up she found herself reading anything that she could get her claws onto about prophecies and seers. It seemed like an interesting topic but she always became annoyed at the lack of research into the phenomenon. The power of seers most often appeared in Water Dragons but it was known to appear in other groups of dragons too. There was plenty of notes about how different prophecies manifested in vision, ranging from vague symbolic visions to pinpoint accurate visions. However there was almost zero research into how a seer was able to tap into knowledge about future events. There were theories but little research into the matter.

As she grew older her decision to become a scientist became set along with her field of study: prophecies and how Seers tap into their visions. She started out by interviewing the two Seers of the clan about how their prophecies manifested in them. She asked if she could obverse them while they were divining the future and set up equipment designed to pick up signs of magic around them to try to determine if there was magic being used by Seers subconsciously. There have been faint detections of magic by her instruments along with something else but she still no clue how seers can pick up such accurate information and why only some select dragons can be seers. She has ruled out the hoods and cowls that seers like to wear as a source but she wears one herself as an aesthetic choice.
