Vetiri

The young daughter of Yllonwen and Flaxen, Vetiri is poised to become the matriarch of Clan Salix when she matures. As of yet, she has very little idea as to the responsibilities of becoming Warden of the Weeping Grove, the huge golden willow and surrounding marshy woodland that makes up the clan's home as well as their stronghold.

At present, the safety and secrecy of the clan is seen to by Lochendur, and mates Ranguvar and Rook act as Vetiri's mentors and guardians. She is however, not as naive as her young age may lead a visitor to believe. She had no choice to grow up fast in the early days of the young clan. The first hatchling born at the new clan lair, her young eyes witness many a beastclan and rival dragon skirmish as her clanmates fought to retain their home once they had settled. The fact that she has seen the horrors of warfare and bodies of foes and friends piled outside her home is a testament to her maturity, though from her relaxed attitude, you would not guess this was the case.

Vetiri is a great lover of food, devouring almost anything she is present with, with the exception of insects. She has also taken quickly to the art of alchemy and mixing poisons, with extensive knowledge of plants and fungi under the tutelage of the clan healer, Anemone.
