The leader of the clan, Blank is in charge of hunting parties and the designation of roles.
A caring beast with daunting looks, Blank is very capable of running the clan. Born in the vicious landscape of the Southern Icefield, she is at home in her similarly dangerous environment - The Shifting Expanse. Though the climate is vastly different, they are both deserts and Blank knows just how to make the most of these tough terrains. She prides herself in understanding every inch of her clan's territory, as well as the paths she and her hunting parties take. Clanmates look to her for advice when journeying somewhere. She knows of all the oases, waterholes, shelters and caves within a fifteen kilometre radius of the lair. She makes simple maps of the most important of landmarks and stores them in her satchel. She also takes souvenirs from any new region she visits. She gives these trinkets of stones or leaves, to hatchlings. She is not good with young dragons, but she does remain fond of them. Though she is knowledgeable and blessed with an irreplaceable memory, she is not very organised and often fails in allocating a balance of dragons to each kind of gathering. Because of the long and winding paths associated with locating river and ocean systems, seafood is often the most neglected food type. Blank struggles with finding experienced fishers, as well as convincing them to take the dangerous and boring trip. It is this issue that makes Blank wary of Coatls and Ridgebacks joining the clan, as their picky taste for fresh fish and crustaceans is more work than is worth. Despite this, her closest bond in the clan other than her mate, Voll, is with Coatl Verrat, whom she adopted from Ad Astra clan. *** On swift legs, Blank charges through the Carrion Canyon with mate Voll each day to collect the rotting remains of beasts that succumb to the rough and dry landscape. They separate at the border between Light and Lightning. Blank brings back carrion, while Voll hunts live prey. *** |
