◊ MYSTERIOUS ◊ QUIET ◊ ENCHANTING ◊ demigirl (she/her) | asexual | chaotic neutral _____________________________________________ When Wispwillow had yet to hatch from her egg, her mother feared she would be taken by the forest. Florescent mushrooms sprouted from her shell, thorny vines encircling the egg as if to protect her. Some call Wispwillow the Witch of the Tangled Wood, but they are only half right. She is definitely of the Tangled Wood, in ways that others only whisper about. At night, it's said she has the same bioluminescent glow as the Woods itself. When she speaks, one can hear the soft whisper of wind through the trees, as if the Woods spoke with her voice. The leaves rustle in greeting when she steps, and all of the Woods' creatures know Wispwillow well. Yet when pain is brought to the Woods, some might find Wispwillow curled in agony with it. The delicate creature's egg was instilled with the very soul of the Wood when she was birthed, and it is as deeply a part of her as her own heart. It's seen in the tiny mushrooms that dot her scales warmly, bobbing like bright beacons in the darkness. The dragoness herself glows with an old and ancient magic indeed. Perhaps, in a way, the Wood itself took root in her. The little living Witch of the Woods, who tends it so carefully. |
