Long ago when the world was newly young, the deities were forging new vessels of their design. Windsinger made spirals, Tidelord made Guardians, Arcanist made Faes, and the Lightweaver made Imperials. She, in all her vigor to make the most beautiful creation she made ticking, unstable time bombs - Emporers. With that, the Imperials were abandoned by their mother like Sorry was abandoned by his own. Shy, self-conscious, anxious, and aware that he is not by any means beautiful, he was on his way to be exalted to Windsinger before he found the Windswept Refuge. Now, he shies away even from the commonfolk and whispers his apologies - ashamed of taking up so much space.
