Sunrise

Sunrise earned his name in the wild. Became a symbol of rebellion due to his bizarre fascination with the wars of men, particularly those involving uprisings. He would watch as rebel armies fought, finding amusement and a kind of kindred spirit in them. Often, their enemies would employ dirty tactics; night raids or striking the rebel ranks at dawn while the men were still tired and sore.

Each time this was tried, the rebels would wake to find the invaders dead or dying, covered in blisters or rashes, eyes jaundiced and froth staining their mouths. The very few who survive long enough to tell what they saw speak of a beast; shrouded in silver, body white as the winter and wings that burned with the blood of the morning sky. Once or twice, the rebel guards have seen his shape, flying across the eastern horizon as the sun begins to climb into the morning sky.
