Shani - Warrior of the Coliseum

Personality:
Shani is the youngest of the coliseum fighting team, though not by much. She strives to prove herself and is disdainful of much besides that which aids her in becoming a better fighter. She isn't anywhere near as motherly as the other two, and like Ingo doesn't want a mate as she feels one would just drag her down. She doesn't want to be limited in any way, and love is weakness after all. She doesn't socialize all that much outside of Ingo and Siberia, preferring to keep largely to herself. She does socialize with Asra, the trainee, quite often as well. Shani is extremely loyal to Castemere and Sable, and will fight anyone who insults them. They took her in without a second though, and now she will defend them to her dying breath.

History:
Shani was one out of numerous children, and she went forth looking for a better clan where she wasn't just one of many other hatchlings. She traveled forth, finding no permanent home that could take her. Everywhere was full, pushing at their boundaries or else being very specific in the kind of dragons they took in. But along the way she met two other dragons, just as rejected and also searching, who she banded together with. Ingo and Siberia.
Together, the three came upon a small clan, just beginning really. Only three members. On a whim she and the others decided to join, and Shani bowed before Castemere as she requested to join his clan. Castemere agreed easily enough, and Shani found herself quickly recruited by Siberia and Ingo to form the Coliseum Team a venture she enthusiastically agreed to. She began to consider both dragonesses to be sisters in all but blood, after all she'd never really known her own sister's very much.
Unlike her team, Shani has only had two nests. She's the least motherly out of the lot and has a bad tendency to roll her eyes when Siberia is fussing over her children or grandchildren. She had one nest to Weizen and another to Finnian, though she's sure she'll have more in the future. She doesn't like not being able to fight in the coliseum while she's sitting on a nest being useless and tends to grumble and growl at everyone during that time. It's always a moody time. Shani hasn't really kept in touch with any of the children who left to join their own clans, or those that went on to serve the Ice Warden dutifully.
When Castemere and Sable's daughter came to the team to be trained, surprisingly it was Shani who took young Asra under her wing, so to speak. The two get along quite well, and Asra often takes Siberia's place in the team when the large imperial female wants to spend time with her children. It's a good set up for all dragons involved.
