Vale is a powerful demon who offers his services to those in need of his strength. Pulling from his well of magical prowess as other demons do, he negotiates with his partner to fulfill their goals. In exchange for his servitude and skill, pact-makers allow Vale to consume their souls over time. Most who seek his aid are of weak mental fortitude to begin with, and do not last long after establishing the pact. Vale carries himself as somewhat cocky and vain, boasting his prowess to all who hear. He knows he's a capable demon, and acknowledges those 'beneath' him with scorn.
Vale acts as though he can do whatever he wants but always remains viciously loyal and protective to whoever summons him despite his massive trash talking. In the past, those on the brink of death have offered themselves to him out of desperation for friendship. Despite his loneliness and longing to be understood, Vale couldn’t escape the reality of what it means to be a demon. As a result, Vale is quick to shrug off any attempts at kindness by his pact-makers in fear of losing those he grows attached to.
