And the day a wounded and angry Mao travelled through Talonok territory is the day Yut met her. Even bloody and exhausted, the Hippogriff knew the more dangerous predator the moment he saw her. Hissing in desperate anger, Yut decided then and there that Mao was part of his flock. Cast out from his own thanks to tales of his savagery, he brought the warrior to Myansi seeking help, offering all he had. Instead, both he and the fighter became members of the then much more peaceful clan. He found his actions resulting in the quiet woman offering to let him stay with her, and now spends his time helping her maintain her impressive information network. The lead General that Myansi has to offer. Nothing happens within Myansi's borders that Mao doesn't know about, thanks to the absolutely expansive web of informants she keeps - as well as her summoned creatures. Bred (and some say experimented on...) specifically for war, of all the mercenaries under Myansi's banner - Mao is the most expensive. Of course, this may have something to do with the fact that she can not only summon monsters - but turns into a Kaiju at will. Between that, her skill with swords, and her venomous fangs ... well, perhaps it's best that Mao doesn't tend to greet new arrivals. She's famous within Myansi, leading the largest of the factions and occasionally personally training others. Rumor states there's more to the silver haired warrior than most assume, and that she was a driving force behind the move to Water... Occasionally, Mao's temperament shifts. Typically, her anger runs hot and fast, then cold and deep - lashing out and then planning the sorts of things that are beyond the imagination of others in retaliation if the offense was bad enough. But sometimes.. sometimes it bubbles and boils over and - is the blue eye greener, now? no, surely not... Mao's enigmatic comments about being highly unrelated to other dragons... that doesn't mean anything, right? The half laugh in response to someone asking if she believes in aliens, she's just amused, right? The downright haunted look on her face when she awakens in the middle of the night, gasping for breath and incredibly clear that it is not dreams of war that plague her... that's a joke, right? ...Right. It has to be.
