Khimera is an angry territorial dragon who wishes only to be seen as strong and capable. She enjoys fighting local beast clans and is the primary hunter of the clan. She does her best to be seen as uncaring but will quickly snap to defend anyone in the clan. Many dragons in the clan do not like her because of her moodiness and tendency to snap angrily at other dragons. She is more likely to simply demand things than ever ask properly her "apprenticeship" to Herk and "adopted daughter" status with Byza makes her have some authority over the other dragons in the clan.

Born to the royal line of dragons in the wind clan Khimera began to grow strange horns and show an increased level of aggression to the other dragons in her clan. The dragons of the wind clan claimed she was one of the beast clans monsters and wanted her exiled. The princess of that clan not wanting to sentence her granddaughter to death, fled with her begging Byza to take her in.
