Biography
Exploring the Kauri clan further, you get a rude scare when you run into a Skydancer that looks like she was struck by a disease of some sort. The plague emblem glowing on her forehead when she turns tells you that's not exactly the case. "Sorry. I didn't mean to be so scared of you. You are?"
The skydancer pauses for a moment before answering in a raspy voice that matches her unsettling looks. "I'm Krystalla. It's been a while since anyone besides Dandelion has talked to me."
You figure that she's surprised more than angry for the moment. "I don't think I can blame the clan for avoiding you. Whatever the plague dragons did to you is rather horrible."
Krystalla nods in agreement. "I know some of them are worth getting to know, but this curse they've given me...I've grown rather sour about them unless I can see their real colors. My anger goes out to them every time they come to attack my home. Recently, my anger has flown towards my very comrades and they became more distant from me."
You listen as she continues to speak.
"I used to be a very pleasant and beautiful dragon before the curse. I was a scout that delivered gifts and messages to other clans, never bothering with the plague dragons; they were not my problem. Then they ambushed me during a trip back to my clan and did...this...to me. Dandelion is probably the only reason I still live in the clan today, so I wish to return the favor sometime."
Seeing that the curse is still a sore subject as her emotions are running high, you decide to cheer her up. "Even if you are cursed, it doesn't change the fact that this is your family. I think that's strong in many of the clan's minds, so you shouldn't worry about when they are going to throw you out but what can they do to help you."
*Krystalla ponders over what you've said. "Dandelion does think about family a lot, so you must be right, traveler. I do wonder if Castamere and Kairne are researching this curse without my knowledge. It never hurts to hope, I guess Thank you. Did you ever meet any good plague dragons on your travels?"
